Strategic Partnership Spotlight: A look-back on 2021

Undoubtedly, digital transformation projects reigned supreme in 2021, and they show no signs of slowing down in the new year.

Digital transformation budgets continue to rapidly increase; according to IDC Research, Inc., transformation project spend is expected to grow by $1.1 trillion between 2020 and 2024 to an estimated $2.4 trillion in 2024. And, according to Constellation Research, digital transformation continues to be the number one budget priority for CIOs.

While digital transformation projects often have the goal of empowering users, in reality, people find it overwhelming navigating through all those ever-changing applications. On top of that, organizations lack the visibility and data to understand and resolve that confusion.

WalkMe’s Digital Adoption Platform (DAP) lets users navigate and transact on all the applications they need to use to do their jobs, without having to learn and remember how, similar to how navigation systems help us find our way to a destination.

The need for DAPs to help people and organizations maximize these tremendous technology investments is only growing. According to Gartner® research,* “by 2025, 70% of organizations will use digital adoption solutions across the entire technology stack to overcome still insufficient application user experiences.”

As an organization, we are constantly thinking of ways to offer the most comprehensive digital adoption technology out there.

Looking back on an incredible year in 2021 here at WalkMe, two partnerships standout in our journey to become an indispensable part of how people and organizations interact with technology.

Deloitte’s Digital Adoption Services business developed in conjunction with WalkMe

Deloitte, a global leader in Human Capital and Business Transformation Consulting, is investing in a dedicated team in the U.S. to provide technology adoption solutions via its newly-created Digital Adoption Services business.

Developed in conjunction with WalkMe, clients can leverage these services to realize the rapid results that digital transformation strategies can deliver.

Across its vast client base, Deloitte has been observing a ‘hand and glove’ relationship between digital transformation and digital adoption initiatives.

Through this alliance, WalkMe and Deloitte are making digital transformation success a reality for more enterprises, simply through making DAP a readily-available complement to digital projects.

SAP Concur User Assistant by WalkMe

We’ve heard a lot this year about ‘The Great Resignation.’ What we’ve heard less about is ‘The Great Acceptance.’ In other words, employees changing careers or companies in mass has created an influx of new hires across the board.

Coupled with the hybrid working model we see at most companies today, this has put pressure on organizations to provide excellent employee experiences.

To address the challenges brought by the Great Acceptance, WalkMe teamed up with SAP Concur, the world’s leading brand for integrated travel, expense, and invoice management solutions to provide a new solution to address the growing challenges of digital adoption, employee onboarding, and employee experience for businesses using SAP Concur solutions.

Concur User Assistant by WalkMe maximizes organizations’ investment in SAP Concur solutions through self-service guidance and additional in-app content in the SAP Concur experience. Concur User Assistant by WalkMe can take users through any digital workflow on desktop, mobile or web applications with an intuitive experience that is tailored automatically for when, where, and how they are using those applications.

The user assistant can guide users through the SAP Concur application exclusively, or across SAP Concur solutions and the many other applications an enterprise uses in conjunction with SAP Concur products.

With WalkMe, organizations can analyze and improve digital adoption and usage trends across applications, users, business processes, and departments, which are critical to understanding how to improve user experience.

As new and current employees are faced with a growing number of applications to learn and use to perform their jobs, solutions like Concur User Assistant by WalkMe puts the power of digital adoption into the hands of all SAP Concur users.

As the pioneer of DAP technologies, WalkMe closes 2021 with more than 35 million users in over 42 countries, and 31% of the Fortune 500. As an organization, we look forward to more successful partnerships like these in 2022 and beyond to continue to offer our customers the best possible ROI on their technology investments and users the best possible experience at the keyboard.
