We are looking for a Director Of People that will Reporting into the VP of People Team, the Director of People oversees WalkMe’s employee relations programs, policies and procedures for our Tel Aviv office. This position develops programs to improve employee satisfaction. This position serves as a trusted advisor to the G&A and Marketing departments, developing and implementing our People Strategy to achieve strategic priorities of the business.

What will you actually be doing?

  • People Business Partner:
  • Acts as a People Team solutions partner to business and functional leaders delivering consistent advice and coaching to support and enable local business strategy.
  • Liaises with functional or operational managers to implement local human resources programs that are appropriate for their business needs, consistent with the organization's overall people strategy.
  • Partners with Talent Management on key talent initiatives (e.g., workforce planning, hi-potential employee development, succession planning, etc.).
  • Manages timely investigations, prepares documentation and makes appropriate recommendations for complex human resources issues to ensure human resources management is conducted effectively.
  • Mentors Tel Aviv People Business Partners to achieve the strategic needs of the business

  • Employee Relations:
  • Leads and facilitates the employee relations program and related functions.
  • Maintains, develops, recommends, and implements program objectives, policies, and procedures.
  • Develops and pursues new goals and objectives for improvement in areas of employee relations.
  • Communicates with employees regarding employee relations concerns; provides guidance and recommendations for resolution of issues.
  • Coordinate with managers to develop performance improvement plans, work closely with manager and employee to provide support, direction, and clear communication throughout the process
  • Counsels employees on concerns related to applicable Equal Employment Opportunity laws and other similar laws.
  • Partner with Legal, business managers, and People BP’s to provide resolutions for escalated or complex issues and concerns.
  • Conduct and deliver employee relations training for managers when necessary
  • Partner with the Benefits Team to navigate personal employee issues and sensitive accommodation requests
  • Partner and coordinate with internal legal counsel

What should you bring to the table?

  • 7+ years of experience with HRBP related experience in technological companies- Must
  • Experience partnering with G&A or Marketing departments - An advantage
  • Proven ability to coach leaders
  • Strong project management skills; the ability to lead projects, motivate teams, and drive execution to the achievement of the right results
  • Thorough understanding of human resources and labor relations principles, practices, and procedures.
  • In depth knowledge of various well-being and benefit initiatives and compliance.
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with employees, boards, officials, directors, and other stakeholders
  • Successfully coaching and mentoring highly skilled managers & team members in all levels
  • High integrity; experience working with sensitive and confidential situations; track record of building strong trust and confidence with business leaders and teams.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment and is able to juggle competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience exercising independent judgment and discretion while using company policies and practices to analyze situations, spot potential issues and determine appropriate action.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and influencing skills (Hebrew and English)
