The Internal Communications Specialist is a driven individual inspired to drive effective and engaging communications and change management strategies around WalkMe Strategic Priorities, business updates, culture, and employee experience. They will coordinate, write, and edit communications and updates across channels to all WalkMe Team Members. They will be a key member of the Internal Communications and Employee Engagement team, building emails, newsletters, blog posts, and Intranet content focused on WalkMe initiatives to ensure our global Team Members consistently feel engaged, informed, and valued. They will collaborate with stakeholders at all levels across the global business and will enjoy a dynamic work environment. This position reports to the Global Director, Internal Communications and Employee Engagement.

What will you actually be doing?

  • Implement strategic internal communications initiatives including emails, newsletters, blog posts, and Intranet content to support WalkMe’s global business.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders across the business to collect information for broad and targeted communication initiatives, ensuring management is aware of any key updates discovered.
  • Support HR projects from a communications perspective, including planning and tactical support for key HR initiatives, local and global change management, talent development, employee engagement, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, reward and recognition, employer branding, benefits, and organizational changes.
  • Build trust and credibility as a communications partner, measuring the effectiveness of strategies and adapting accordingly to feedback.
  • Draft and/or edit messages as needed, providing context, clarity, consistency, and appropriate tone, positioning content through strategic communications vehicles, identifying opportunities and risks within each project, and tailoring the message to intended audiences.
  • Coordinate with Team Members across the People Team (HR), Marketing, and the business at-large to collect photos, videos, and stories to enhance global culture and position WalkMe as an employer of choice
  • Assist with employee experience initiatives as needed, with a primary focus on ideating, coordinating, and executing global virtual events via Zoom.
  • Be an engaged, energetic, and collaborative member of the team, challenging others wherever appropriate and striving for ever-higher standards.

What should you bring to the table?

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; proven track record of delivering impactful communications, including message development, communications planning, and content strategy.
  • Strong strategic mindset and ability to creatively, clearly, and compellingly tell a story around diverse business initiatives.
  • Ability to build trust and credibility as a strategic communications partner, maintaining effective working relationships with a range of Team Members at all levels in the organization, often virtually and across multiple time zones.
  • Self-motivated, flexible team-player who can adjust to frequently changing priorities and complex projects.
  • Ability to use data to prove value and understand when to adjust strategy based on metrics.
  • Interest and passion around the employee experience, DEI, and volunteering / philanthropy.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with excellent time management skills that can deliver on deadlines and produce results quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude toward change and relates well to others, seeing their perspectives and addressing their needs; understands and appreciates different and opposing perspectives on an issue. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of professional experience in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or similar field.
  • Fluent in English and Hebrew (and flexible to working slightly later in the day to adjust to leadership in PST/MDT time zones).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Zoom.
  • Graphic design and video editing experience preferred.
