ADDENDUM FOR CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS

ADDENDUM FOR CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS

The California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) regulates how businesses handle “personal information” (as such term is defined in the CCPA) of California residents and gives California residents certain rights with respect to their personal information. If you are a resident of California, we are required to inform you of how we use and disclose your personal information and certain rights you may have under the CCPA.

We are both a “business” and a “service provider” under the CCPA, depending on how you interact with us. This section applies only to personal information we collect in our role as a business. If you are an End User, our commercial Customer is the “business” under CCPA, and will provide a privacy notice consistent with their configuration and deployment of our product at the point of collection of your information.  Information about the personal information potentially collected by Customers through WalkMe’s commercial offerings is available here. When we act as a Service Provider, we process personal information only for the purposes specified in the written contract with our commercial Customer. We delete personal information about a consumer when instructed to do so by our commercial Customer.

We act as a Business when we collect and use personal information about our potential Customers (business leads) and Site Users (including individuals receiving web development training in their individual capacity). This notice explains our information practices for these groups of Consumers.
